TELL ME ABOUT DEXTROPROPOXYPHENE.

Dextropropoxyphene: is an opioid pain medicine used to relieve mild to moderately severe pain associated with cancer. It may also be used in a combination with other medicines such as paracetamol and ibuprofen for treating pain. This medicine should be used with extreme caution in children and only under the supervision of a healthcare professional.

commonly sold as Spasmoproxyvon, is available as capsules. Often, these capsules are injected by dissolving the contents of the capsule in water, which is then boiled and the mixture is injected. The contents of the capsule do not completely dissolve in water, minute particles are pulled into the syringe and injected, which act as irritants. These irritants induce an inflammatory response and result in an abscess.
